where good deeds are rewarded with apples & the bad with lemons

If you haven’t visited the Chan Lim Family of Artists and Students Exhibit of Chinese and Western Paintings at the SM Lanang Premier atrium then I suggest you do. There’s still time to be awed by the beautiful artworks as the exhibit will run for a week more until September 25.

It’s the 4th Mid-Autum Festival exhibit mounted by the artists in Davao. Forty artists participated, including the patriarch, Chan Lim, and his family, to create 300 artworks, which includes lanterns, scrolls, oil paintings and 3D koi artworks on porcelain plates.

The collection of Chinese lanterns is breathtaking. At every turn, I said “I like this one” and wished I can it all home. Difficult it may be I managed to narrow my favorites to 10. Here they are.
