where good deeds are rewarded with apples & the bad with lemons

Let there be light

The hotels’ holiday trees may have just been lighted recently to officially usher in the season but unofficially the Yuletide spirit commenced on the first day of the “ber” month. Such a long Christmas celebration in the PI and that’s how us Pinoys want it, that’s how we got used to it.

What I like about how everything turned out this year was how the top hotels of the city collaborated their schedules. It was done in such a way that the Christmas tree lighting events were witnessed by everyone important in their guest lists. The crowd, the media included, was not divided.

The looks in each of the hotels—Seda Abreeza Hotel, Park Inn by Radisson and Marco Polo Davao—were all exciting and tastefully executed to interpret their themes. From winter in the woodland to rustic, all the trees of the hotels are photogenic and social media-sharing worthy. Visit it for yourself and see how it draws out the spirit of Christmas from within you.
